What Makes Hemp & Body Co Different?

When looking to purchase hemp oil, it’s important to note the THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) levels. An oil with too high of a THC level could cause psychedelic effects, including altered mood, behaviour and perception. It will give the same effect as consuming marijuana. To avoid these issues, look for CBD products, like our hemp blend oils, containing a “THC-free” label to give you peace of mind.

Unlike other hemp blend oils, our hemp products are derived from hemp plants containing extremely low levels of THC. When lab tested, our products contained less than 0.03% THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol)-the psychoactive compound typically found in marijuana. The threshold for products to be labelled “THC-Free” is 0.3%. When you are seeking relief from various health conditions, but do not want to risk intoxication, choose to buy THC-free. You can avoid the potential legal concerns, and do not have to compromise safety, to enjoy all the medical benefits hemp has to offer.

So, What Is CBD?

The name “CBD Oil” is commonly used to refer to products made using either cannabis sativa, commonly called hemp, or cannabis indica, commonly called marijuana. ‘CBD’ stands for Cannabidiol, one of the many chemical compounds found in both of these plants. Unlike THC, CBD does not cause intoxication (a “high”).

A report from the World Health Organization states;

“In humans, CBD exhibits no effects indicative of any abuse or dependence potential… To date, there is no evidence of public health related problems associated with the use of pure CBD.”
